This vitamin packed skin butter contains a special blend of essentials oils including Lavender and Rose Geranium, in a base of natural skin healing Aloe, Avocado and Mango butter. This salve works like magic to restore skin, reduce scars and heal scabs. Oil butters help maintain skin moisture and have some natural sunscreen. Vitamin E and other vitamins found naturally in the oil butters promote healing, skin renewal, hair growth and prevent scarring. The essential oils are naturally anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antibiotic, antiseptic and anti-viral; non-irritating and can be used as often as necessary. SkinMend starts as a solid but the butter melts when it contacts the skin. For best results store at room temperature between 50 - 70 degrees (softening above 70 degrees). The bees wax in this product may become granular but this will not effect the quality.
Usage: This gentle yet effective herbal salve can be used on any minor skin condition.
- Applied daily to cuts and scrapes it soothes the sting and helps skin heal and hair grow back rapidly.
- It can be used around the eyes, nose and mouth areas for calluses from the bit and cuts to the face, without causing irritation.
- The essential oils also have a soothing and calming effect when inhaled.
- Skin Mend will soften old scars and dry skin patches that keep tearing open.
- In dry climates it can be used as a hoof moisturizer especially effective when applied to the heel area.
- Use on tick and insect bites to reduce inflammation.
- Use to loosen scabs and help skin heal.
- Use it on your own dry cuticles.
- For use on areas with fungal bacteria be sure not to contaminate product. Take out a sufficient amount of product so you don't spread bacteria into the jar. Make sure you have cleaned your hands before using SkinMend again.
- For fungus on legs SkinMend can be applied in a thin layer and wrapped with cotton bandages over night to help loosen scabs and dead skin.
