Encourages chewing activity and helps to correct tongue vices.  Submissiveness is improved.  When pulling on the reins, the port moves down over the tongue and there is no pressure on the palate due to the special angle of the bit.

• Horses with a tendency to pull

• In the case of raw palates or over-sensitivity

• Meant as a transition from snaffle to Weymouth for ridden dressage.  Please note this bit is not legal in ridden dressage competition.
