Why Wichard?  No need for replacement parts: the plunger pin is set captive for life. All these snap shackles are hot drop forged from high resistant stainless steel. Only forging creates a superior steel product, by increasing its elasticity and maximizing the steel's internal strength. A forged snap shackle will deform long before breaking. It will not burst or break suddenly. This is a guarantee for safety.

Wichard uses a martensitic stainless steel (magnetic) in its products. It is called high-resistance steel (HR). This steel hardens structurally during treatment which results in the achievement of considerable hardness. It is used for Wichard 's products requiring high load values. It is the products made with this "HR" steel that Coachman's Delight carries.
