Bit Exchange and Buy Back Policy

There may be times when what you have received isn’t exactly right. If the error has been on our part, we will be anxious to set things right. Please call us right away and let us know what we can do. If there is another reason for returning an item, please see the guidelines below. 

Product & Harness Return Policy

All returns must be accompanied by a receipt.

Non-harness products may be returned:

  • Within 14 days for a 100% refund provided it is in new condition and the package is unopened and unused. 

  • If product is defective, please return to us for exchange or refund.

  • Products returned after 14 days may be eligible for store credit.


Harness and harness parts may be returned under the following conditions:

  • Within 14 days for a 100% refund or exchange provided it is clean and in new condition.

  • Within 45 – 90 days for store credit. 

  • After 90 days we will follow used harness pricing and consignment procedures.

  • Any harness or harness part that failed due to a manufacturer’s error will be replaced by the manufacturer up to one year from the original purchase date.

Bit Trade In and Buy Back Policy

You may return a bit purchased at Coachman’s Delight under the following conditions:

  • Within 14 days for a 100% refund provided it's in new condition. 

  • Within 14 - 45 days for 85% store credit. 

  • After 45 days the bit is considered used.

  • If a bit shows teeth marks or other wear, it will be assessed to be re-sold as a used bit.

Bit Trade In Policy

  • Excellent condition = Store Credit 70% of original retail price 

    • Shiny polished, easily identified, common or otherwise valuable bit, like new (no teeth marks)

  • Good Condition = Store Credit 65% of expected retail price

    • Clean, some discoloration, a few teeth marks, maker or origin of the bit is reasonably identifiable 

  • Fair Condition = Store Credit 50% of expected retail price

    • Not clean, much discoloration, gouges from teeth, difficult to identify maker or origin

Refunds for purchases that were paid for by check will be held until the funds have been deposited.
Condition of the harness, bits, or other items is at the discretion of Coachman’s Delight, Inc.
The customer is responsible for all shipping & return shipping for returns and exchanges unless otherwise arranged.

Please contact us before mailing any bits for trade in so that we may discuss them before they are mailed.
